Today I had the opportunity to visit the newly opened Apple Store in Shanghai’s Jing’an District. The Apple Store is located in the heart of the city and is again designed in the typical Apple style.
The architecture of the store itself is something special. It was designed with transparency in mind and features floor-to-ceiling glass walls that not only offer a panoramic view of the surroundings, but also invite passers-by to step into an Apple world.
All in all, it is an astonishing move, especially at a time like today, that one of the most important American corporations can afford such a building in the center of Shanghai and that it has been approved.
