Why is it important that the beautiful is difficult to grasp? This question has two aspects. The beautiful itself must protect itself. It must guard against ignorance. Ignorance would trample it like a beautiful flower on a busy road that buries everything beneath it and makes it ugly. The beautiful must preserve its beauty for the beholder. The beholder is the second aspect. They must learn to find it and are rewarded with the joy of the purity of the beautiful. A good tip to find more beauty is to simply take a “wrong” turn. Often, this leads to the right path and the effort is worthwhile. For example, when in a very touristy city, one might turn down a side street. But please, do not share this tip widely. It should not spread.
