Now that I have a little more time, I am taking the opportunity to explore Shanghai. Currently, I would like to explore the bridges over the Suzhou River. Many of these bridges now house sports facilities, small cafés, and much more. The city of Shanghai is utilizing the space under the bridges so that business people and citizens can use the otherwise unused space.
My first stop is the highway interchange near Hongqiao Airport. I will always mark the location on the map (in case anyone wants to visit).
Under the bridge, there are soccer fields, basketball courts, and tennis courts. There are buildings for cafés and pool billiards, and even a Porsche club has set up shop here.
