TVET-Architekt

My new book “TVET-Architekt” is here!

It’s a special moment when years of on-site work, countless sketches, and international projects suddenly become a finished book. Today’s the day: My new work.„The TVET-Architect“ it is officially published and available as both an eBook and a paperback.

Why “TVET-Architekt”?

Many people ask me why I chose the title “TVET-Architekt” when my background is in automotive engineering and technical training. The answer is simple: I think vocational education is important and anyone who wants to build a modern vocational education system today—whether in China, the Philippines, or elsewhere—cannot only think in terms of curricula. They have to design an entire ecosystem.

We build spaces, we design digital structures, and we lay the foundation for the careers of the next generation. In this book, I share my “blueprint” for precisely this task.

A deep look into the 262 pages

This book is not a dry work of theory. It is a distillation of my experiences as a consultant and trainer at the interface between industry and education. Here are some of the core topics we delve into:

  • The dual system considered globally:How can the successful model of German education be transferred to international markets without losing sight of the local culture?
  • The learning environment as the “third educator”:From the 5S method in the workshop to the ergonomic design of specialist rooms – the environment determines learning success.
  • The digital framework:For me, Learning Management Systems and the targeted use of AI are not gimmicks, but essential tools for modern teaching methods.
  • Teacher Qualification:Why train-the-trainer programs are the most important lever for sustainable quality.

Who is TVET-Architekt book for?

I wrote this book for doers. It’s for education managers facing the challenge of building new centers. It’s for consultants seeking tried-and-tested strategies. And it’s for teachers who want to understand how to bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and the digital future.
