After having a short visit at one of our partner schools in Fuyang (a smaller city in the south of Hangzhou) I had a closer look at the surrounding area. The area around the city of Fuyang is a water reservoir for China. The water from the mountains collects in the many rivers and lakes in this area. The photos show a few impressions from the area of Huyuan, a small community of Fuyang County. Today, most of the communities live from tourism and many Chinese people come here in summer to relax from the hectic city life.
